Jems July Blog Hop - Animals!
Welcome to our July blog hop!
There are so many cute sets featuring animals in the new
Stampin’ Up! catalogue it was difficult to choose which to use but I went with
the a little foxy suite – no foxes on this first project though!!
I knew I wanted to make both a 3D project and a card this
time and started out by making the little gift box.
I used the fox builder punch and foxy friends stamp set to
make my cute little cat, he’s punched out of whisper white card stock and the
edges are sponged with smoky slate ink.
I used the colours from the a little foxy DSP as inspiration
for these 2 projects; I love how they look together! Once I had made the ‘meow’
on the box with the labeller alphabet stamp set I knew I needed to think of a
cute saying to go on the coordinating card to tie them both in!
I do love this whole suite - I first used it for my team swaps at our recent team training day. I started out with a fox, then as they were so small (but also very cute) I felt I should make a second and so the cat followed! I made 16 of each design plus a few extra for my daughter who instantly fell in love with them and watched me fascinated while I was making them!

I completely changed my plans when I saw Hershey’s kisses
for sale in a local shop, I had watched a few of Breanda's video’s using kisses
already and as Hershey’s kisses remind me of 2 special holidays to Toronto I
just had to buy them to use!
We also made some gorgeous cards and a picture at our team training using this same suite of products, I shall share them next week!
Enough rambling from me, please visit my fellow Jems to see
what fab animal creations they have produced, just use the images below!
Thanks, Sam x
Just a little edit to say I have just entered this make into the first Pootles colour challenge!
Lovely card and matching bag - that pussy cat is so cute too!! I was lucky enough to receive the tiny cat and fox at training and my grand-daughter Lexie enjoyed the Hershey kisses!! Thanks from both of us!!
