Christmas decorations

Hello and welcome to the Jems blog hop for November!
This month’s theme is Christmas decorations – Christmas is sneaking up on us fast and I feel totally unprepared as usual!! But hopefully a jump around our blog hop will inspire me as much as it does you; I love handmade items so I’m very much looking forward to seeing everyone’s wonderful creations too!

So here’s my make, it would look equally cute hung on a tree as it would attached to a gift as an oversized gift tag! It was actually my team swaps for the last quarterly team training I attended and I loved personalising the swaps with each attendees initial!

It’s made in real red cardstock with embossed white snowflakes from the tin of tags stamp set as well as a sentiment from the same stamp set. Then a cute cookie cutter Christmas character and a little sparkly glitter ribbon to finish.

I did use a non Stampin' up! item (shhh!!) which was the We R Memory keepers alphabet punch board to make the actual letters, I can see it being used alongside my Stampin' Up! goodies to create some lovely banners for Christmas!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little contribution and please use the links below to jump through the other member’s blogs – preferably with a cuppa!

Sam x

  1. Oh I do love what you have created here. You have given me a lot of inspiration. Appreciate your honesty re the alphabet punch. Can I ask how you found this to use, straight forward, fiddly but worth it etc. Any feedback would be wonderful as I've been thinking of purchasing one. Thanks so much for all you share.
