Something for the men
The theme this month is ‘something for the men’

I chose to use one of my favourite sets from the
spring/summer catalogue – the lift me up bundle.
I instantly fell in love with this set and could see how
versatile it would be. I’m so glad its carrying on to the new catalogue! Its
worth noting though that it is currently available in a bundle with a saving of
10% which will finish when the new catalogue is released in June.
Here I used a colour palette of whisper white, smoky slate,
night of navy and pool party to create this cute little pocket card. I’ve seen
Julie Kettlewell of The Paper Haven make several of this style card and thought
I’d give it a go last week – I have now made several myself in different
colourways and using different stamps sets!! They are a lovely way to send a
quick note to someone and once I’d worked out measurements I’ve found them
quick and easy to recreate!
I used an A5 piece of card stock, scored on the long side at
10cm and 20cm, and on the short side at 14cm. The inner card base is 9.5cm x
13.8cm. Then I just mat and layer different colours and stamp away to my hearts
content!
I hope you like it! I’ll update my blog with my other pocket
card designs soon!
