Barbara's 60th Birthday
Today’s blog features a card and gift
bag I made last month for our lovely friend/second mum Barbara! It was Barbara’s
60th birthday and so she deserved a special treat!
I didn’t make Barbara a cake as
she was having afternoon tea (with plenty of cake!) then jetting off to India
for 3 week so instead she got a thoughtful gift wrapped in packaging made with
love.
The card is made using purely Stampin’
up! Products, It features the number of years stamp set and dies, the gorgeous
love blossoms DSP and a circle of botanical gardens vellum. The main colours
used are Rose red, blushing bride and mossy meadow.
The gift bag was made using the gift
bag punch board and birthday bouquet DSP – I’m so sad this paper is being
discontinued! It’s so beautiful! I’m very pleased I have a full unopened pack
to play with! The ribbon used was from my local craft shop and you should have
realised by now I love a big oversized bow!!
I love making cards for my friend
and family; it’s so much more personal and fun! I have a list of how many cards
I have to make each month and so I will be making a start on May’s cards soon!
Hope you all have a fab week,
thanks for reading
