My first throwback!

So for my first throwback post I thought I'd choose to showcase both a cake and one of my first Stampin' Up! creations. These were for my friend Claire's surprise baby shower just under a year ago.

Claire was "team yellow" so at the time we didn't know her baby bump was home to the beautiful Ella.

 

The theme for both my makes was yellow, I love my cakes to have a big over sized bow (where appropriate of course!) and they generally have a selection of different beautiful ribbons (I cannot enter my local fabric shop without buying at least 3 options and they often all make it onto my finished cake!)

 

 

My cake also featured a butterfly as a little nod to Claire's gorgeous Goddaughter Winter, who will forever be a beautiful butterfly <3

My baby shower card showcases the Stampin' Up! Bow maker punch, Triple banner punch, Teeny tiny sentiments stamps and Cherry on top designer series paper. The charms are from my local craft shop and finished the card off nicely!

As you can see my style is simple, clean, elegant.
...although I have to admit I make a mess while I'm creating/baking/crafting!
